On May 12 2014, Pope Francis declared that He would baptize an alien if he were asked to do so. I am not referring to an “illegal alien” as in one who has entered into a nation without permission or regard to the rule of law. No, not that kind of alien. I am referring to the E.T. variety of alien, meaning from outer space, not of our world.
Maybe its me, but could his declaration be assuming a little to much? As far as we know we have never encountered alien life, even though more than a few have suggested so. The problem here is that we are not talking about some governmental agency speaking in conspiracy theory about alien invaders. We are talking about the head of the largest group of “so called” Christians in the world, yet his comments should not be surprising, for in 2010 a Vatican scientist suggested that aliens may have souls. I don‘t know about you, but I probably won’t shop where he purchased his bible. Sadly this it is not just a conspiracy theory, but something the Roman Catholic Church are actively pursuing.
The reason is quite simple and can be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church pg. 224 section 846, which declares the Catholic Church is the one and only Church, outside of which there is no salvation. The Vatican has found itself the defenders of the faith, and although their reign of absolute power had been broken by the reformation and enlightenment period, what is born crooked will remain crooked, even if it appears to have straightened out. Although they use language of inclusion, they have still set themselves up as the one true church. If a person has been baptized and follows Christ but does not adhere to Catholic doctrine, they deem them “separated brethren”. Sounds nice, but it is merely an attempt to leave a channel open for an unbiblical return by those justified by faith alone. We can see this happening all around us, as we are called to rally around Jesus Christ, yet as we have found their Jesus is not the Jesus from the Word of God.
September 15 of 2015 should serve as an example to us all. On this date at the World Meeting of Families Conference (A Catholic Conference), Rick Warren gave the key note address. Seen by many as a moment of Christian unity, nothing could be further from the truth. Christian unity is to rally around the doctrine of Christ, not strengthening families, or protecting the unborn, as necessary as those are. Rick Warren is not the only believer to make this error, but is a member of a parade that includes Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Tony Perkins and Russel Moore. Warren has gone as far as to refer to Pope Francis as the pope of all Christians. This move is not insignificant for a “Bible believing Christian”, who should be able to spot the blasphemous doctrine of the RCC. Not only does the Vatican aim to be the one church of Christianity, they are aiming to be the sole religious entity that brings all religions together.
“Those who, through not fault of their own, do no know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do His will as they know through the dictates of their conscience—those too may achieve eternal salvation”
(Catechism of the Catholic Church pg.224 Sec. 847)
Once more the unbiblical nature of their doctrine should be apparent, as no man achieves salvation (Ephesians 2:8-10) and no man can actually follow the dictates of conscience to satisfy the righteousness of God, this is why all men are without excuse and unable to achieve salvation (Romans 1:18-24). We could chalk this up the RCC’s pattern of blatant unbiblical teaching, but they are literally moving on this point of doctrine to bring all faiths together.
During the Pope’s recent visit to the U.S. he organized an interfaith prayer gathering including Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindu’s and Buddhists. Each one prayed or chanted to their god, or spoke a “nugget of truth” from their religion’s teaching. At the end they all embraced, and one of the participants proclaimed “Lets lock the door and not leave until we achieve peace on earth“. Isn‘t that special? It may sound great, but is antithetical to how world peace is to come, when Jesus Christ returns in person to deal with a world government, religion and multitudes of people united against Him. The Catholic Church‘s behavior should not be a surprise to anyone, given their doctrine and behavior. Revelation 17:1-6 gives us a clear view of the end game…
Revelation 17:1-6 (NKJV) Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
Interestingly the history of western civilization is one where kings and nations got into bed with the Roman Catholic Church, in fact you could be a king without the RCC blessing and backing. The wine of the RCC’s fornication was glory to kill under the banner of Christ during the crusades, and many an ignorant man drank in the prospect of glory, only to be left worse than dead. When looking on the religious life of the Roman Catholic Church you do not see the simplicity of Christ, but the adornment of gold, silver, precious stones, the finest array of robing and a chalice full of abominations. For all the talk of humility the main stay is the majesty of human religion made up to hide the beast underneath. And who could dispute the gleeful drunkenness of the blood of 50 millions Christian souls who dared to stand with Christ against the RCC‘s anti-Christ doctrines.
Now it is not difficult to identify the woman. Think of it, who is the most predominate biblical figure of the Roman Catholic Church? It is not Jesus, or Peter or Paul, but Mary. Mary has become the illustration most prevalent. Even in iconography with Jesus, He is always an infant, she crowned not with humility but pomp, and glory as the “Queen of Heaven”. The flock is told to look to her for prayer and even salvation. Please understand I have no problem with the biblical Mary, a young virgin, humble before the will of Almighty God. Yet she needed a Savior still, she needed to be born again, repent and place her faith in Jesus Christ the Lord. The Catholic Mary is not that Mary, but the old Babylonian retread of Satan, the “Queen of heaven”, but she is not the queen she is the “Mother of Harlots” the representation of the end of Roman Catholic Church.
I realize that writing this may appear hostile and maybe even lacking in love. Do not be deceived. I have many close friends and family who were born and raised as I, steeped in Catholicism. What has been written should not lead you to assume that Romans Catholics can’t be saved. Quite the contrary, my family is living proof they can be, by responding to God’s Word concerning Jesus Christ through true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. There are many redeemed brothers and sisters in Christ whom the Lord has planted in the RCC to lead others to faith. I do believe that most Catholics are sincere in their practice of faith. Therefore we must be about the business of declaring the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to every man woman and child in the RCC. Now is the time and the rank and file Roman Catholic is ripe for the kingdom of God, for their religion can only leave them wanting. Even though this is reason enough to know the facts, there is a far more important reason to understand the movements of the RCC.
In the last days the anti-Christ will come in very particular (II Thessalonians 2:7-12). This takes place during the “apostacy” or the great falling away, which refers to those who were once settled in Christ, meaning those who were once not deceived are now deceived. Let’s not degenerate into a discussion on whether you can’t or can lose your salvation. Let’s simply agree any Christian can fall into sin, therefore any Christian can be deceived. This is why we are warned, for just as anyone of us can love the truth, anyone of us can grow cold to the truth. Just as anyone of us can be on fire in love with Jesus, we can equally become lukewarm or cold if not sober. Just as we can desire and encounter the nearness of His presence we can also leave our first love. The point… We can be deceived.
