Dear friends,
In the midst of difficulties with Christian brothers, always seek to see Christ in your brother even if he is behaving as your adversary.
When the enemy is afoot, he will attempt to pull your mind to seeing only what irritates you, in the one you are in conflict with; this is an effort to cover a history of service, support and love, between brothers.
Don’t let Satan win, strive to see Christ in them, for there is to much to lose… The very testimony of Christ to the world (John 17:20-23).
John 17:20-23 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
This does not mean to condone or cover up sin, but it is to behave under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, manifesting Christ’s character rather than that which does not work the righteousness of God (James 1:19-20).
James 1:19-20 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Brother Michael
